JUNIOR GARDENERS

Meeting the FFGC mission statement, “…instilling in our youth the love of gardening and the respect and protection of the environment,” is done through Junior Gardeners, either as a single Youth Activity or as a Junior Garden Club.  Junior Garden Clubs consist of five or more youth, Pre K-5th grade, which meets five or more times a year.  Youth Activity is any other program or programs that involve youth and does not meet the Junior Gardener Club requirements.

Passing on our love of gardening, design and all things related to our environment is a way of ensuring the continuation of our passions and the love of our world.  The wonder and joy of this can be seen in the eyes of our youth.

START by completing a Registration Form and Permission Slip.

NOTE:  Any photograph of a minor or their work published for any purpose must have completed an NGC media waiver prior to submission.

AWARDS

Junior Gardener Awards are for all FFGC clubs with junior gardener clubs.  To apply for a Junior Gardener Award you must register your Junior Garden Club first. Prior to the submission of photos of a minor, you must have a completed NGC Media Waiver!

The awards flyer may be useful to help Junior Gardeners choose the award for which they may wish to apply.

Jennifer Barber, Chairman
