The City of DeLand and the Garden Club of DeLand invite you to attend the Sensory Butterfly Garden's re-dedication located at Bill Dreggors Park, 230 North Stone Street, DeLand, at 10 am. The Sensory Garden was created by the Garden Club of Deland in 1198. Over the past few months the garden has been redesigned to attract butterflies and help preserve the Monarch butterfly population. Over 1,000 plants were planted and over 200 were relocated this spring. In February DeLand became Monarch City USA, the first in the state of Florida. Free and open to the public and parking is free.
