Course 1 provides an introduction to environmental science and includes presentations about ecology, plant biodiversity, environmental issues, backyard wildlfe habitats, networking and outreach, historic environmental actions and leaders, and sustainabiltiy. It also includes a two-hour nature discovery field trip. Specific Details regarding course schedule, instructors, and the field trip will be provided to those who register. Seating is limited to 30, so register early. Be prepared to dress for a 2-hour walk outside.
