Hi everyone, I've had some club presidents ask me what to do about collecting dues for the 2020-2021 year coming up. I am inclined to tell them to collect as usual, prepare their membership lists to send to headquarters with their remittances as directed by June 1. I want everyone to be all spiffed up and ready to go with their September meetings and hopefully rounding up their members will be a positive thing to keep everyone occupied. I know we will all make it through this, and I am encouraging my clubs to keep active via email, Facebook and even snail mail. My Monday project is to send notes to my Valparaiso Garden Club members ( as their president) as well as to my presidents within District I. I'm attaching my Valparaiso Garden Club Membership Renewal Form that we adopted a couple years ago. Check out the yellow-highlighted section. That has given members who are unable to do physical work any longer a great way to still contribute to the club's mission as well as other members who just want to contribute more to the club.
